Chikimiki crafts  thoughtfully designed garments that bridge the gap between fashion and art. It is the brainchild of Elise Dealmeida, for whom New York City's vibrant creative culture has been a lifelong source of inspiration. Following a successful design career with internationally known brands, she felt called to a more artistic approach to fashion, one based on small-scale production with a local focus.

In an effort to do our part to make the world a kinder place, Chikimiki partners with Bookfriends, an organization that provides schoolbooks and educational resources for children in rural Africa.
